I don't believe in fate.
I mean--it's crap. I make my own decisions, and they're not determined by some force outside of me. It's me. I don't think that I'm destined or fated for anything. I mean, there are too many variables (yeah, I pay attention sometimes when Bruce talks). Think about it, though. Did fate control Two Face? Make him kill my dad? Try to kill me? Because if so? I've got some words for fate, and they're the kinds of words that Alfred and Bruce give me That Look for using.
So no. I think that people make their own choices, and when they try to blame fate or destiny or whatever, it's a total cop-out. Choices have consequences, and you just have to deal with that. There's always a choice, even if you don't like it
It's not fate.
