notafraidofyou...Oh, those suck. There was this one time the Joker decided it would be a great idea to cause a blackout in Gotham, because of all the chaos it would cause, right? And--yeah. It was pretty bad for a while. I mean, Gotham is no picnic in the daytime, and it's always worse at night, so with the blackout... people got pretty bad.
But then--man, I really do work for the awesomest guy in the world--Batman came in, and he and Batgirl and Nightwing and me helped the cops get things under control again. It was like one of those stories in magazines that never happen in real life, and definitely not in Gotham, but people just... pulled together. They helped us and the cops get their neighborhoods under control and the headline the next day was about how the cops and the communities kept it together in the face of a city-wide blackout.
The Joker didn't even get a mention (and man, was he mad about that).
Still. Even though it worked out okay... I'd definitely rather not have it happen again. Gotham's really not all that great a place when all the lights are out.
